Expect a night of full band electrifying tunes, and a couple of surprises along the way. Supporting acts include Jake O’Neill and FINOLA, adding to the night’s talent.
Jake O’Neill is an authentic UK based country artist with that modern twist. Hailing from small town Burscough, Lancashire. Having already had a busy year opening for artists such as 49 Winchester, Canaan Cox and Twinnie, O'Neill has huge plans for the future. Taking listeners on a journey through the highs and lows of life and love, Jake draws inspiration from personal experiences and the timeless traditions of old and new country.
Originally a country-pop artist, Manchester based singer-songwriter FINOLA has been featured on BBC Introducing Manchester, has supported touring renowned artists and sold-out all of her self-promoted shows. After an almost 5 year hiatus from releasing her solo music, to pursue a Master's Degree and travel the world, in the last couple of years she has also co-written and sang backing vocals on upcoming Manchester artists' work. Now she's firmly back on Mancunian ground and ready to show what she has been working on. Her personal, emotive songwriting pays homage to her Country music past, but her new sound is taking us down a fusion pop route. Think Natalie Imbruglia's "Torn" meets The 1975 production, 80's synths, anthemic drums and of course harmonies curated from the expert herself. "It's sad gal pop bops".
